Brief Job Summary:

Tinkelman Architecture is currently seeking out an entry level, BIM oriented architectural associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that’s motivated and enjoys working with a team of architectural professionals to see projects through all phases. Daily job responsibilities will include assisting in the development of project design and construction documents, aiding our office in developing Revit Standards, templates, and content, as well as helping to develop current staff’s Revit skills. This is a full-time, year-round position.



  • Bachelor of Architectural Technology or greater.

  • Strong Skills in Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Basic knowledge of Construction Documentation and architectural practices.

  • Knowledge of architectural office standards.

  • Previous office experience in an architectural setting is a plus.


Main Responsibilities:

The primary roles of the ideal candidate are to aid the office in the development of design and construction documents in both CAD and Revit, as well as to aid our transition to a full time Revit workflow through the development of families, standards, and templates. Candidate will build on their prior knowledge of construction documentation as they aid in putting together projects from start to finish.

Additional Responsibilities:

Additional responsibilities may at times be to aid in the offices production of 3D visualization content, and virtual reality presentations. Additional responsibilities will be those traditionally found in an architectural office setting.

A multi-faceted Architectural/Development Company located in Poughkeepsie, New York is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a great position for a Staff Accountant or Senior Staff Accountant looking to take the next step up and break into a management role.


Brief Job Description:

This position reports to the CFO and will be responsible for the day to day accounting needs of a fast-paced, fast-growing organization, as well as the following responsibilities:


  • Cash Management for 18+ Entities

  • Daily accounting for the Property Management, Architectural and Development Entities

  • Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Update and Manage schedules

  • Prepare and Post Intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

  • Prepare and oversee monthly client billing

  • Post journal entries as needed

  • Construction Accounting- Purchase Orders, COI’s, Lien Waivers, Contracts

  • Assist in Month End Close, Budgeting and Flux analysis

  • Monitor and Analyze Accounting data


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance

    5+ years of experience

    Thorough experience with month-end close, journal entries, account review, GL

  • Strong technical skills, detailed understanding of financial principles

  • State of the art knowledge of current information systems and excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, and Outlook

  • Possess excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and be capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic

  • Fast Learner with the ability to work with Minimum supervision

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load

  • Experience with Quickbooks, Appfolio and Deltek software a plus

We are looking for a proactive, reliable, dependable Office Admin/Bookkeeper. They will undertake administrative, clerical and bookkeeping tasks ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently.  If you thrive in an atmosphere where you have the ability to jump in and help others in all facets of the organization, this is the position for you.


  • Greet employees, visitors and clients and others when they arrive to the office

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls

  • Use a range of office software, including and not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint

  • Manage online and paper filing systems

  • Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs

  • Ensure reception and office area including kitchen is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and supplies (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)

  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries

  • Provide administrative support to the Principal with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, typing letters, maintaining calendar and schedules, assisting with telephone calls, etc.

  • Responsible for assisting the Finance Dept, including and not limited to A/P and A/R, and monthly billing cycle

  • Support Architects with RFPs, mailings, running errands for pick-ups and drop-offs as needed. Ability to provide other administrative assistance as necessary


  • Professional & friendly manner is a must

  • Strong work ethic

  • Must be able to take initiative and follow through on action items

  • Marketing experience a plus (Social Media, Websites, Marketing Material)

  • Must be flexible and available as needed

  • Effective written, verbal and electronic communication

  • Numerical aptitude, including 10‑key by touch

  • Ability to type
