The TA Team was selected by the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary to design a new mixed-use campus for their Order. This project replaced the existing buildings on site in favor of a complex composed of nine new structures located at the southern end of their property. Our team conceived of the project as a small campus community that revolves around a common greensward at its heart. Architecturally simple and consistent in materiality and its use of "green" ideas, it was our intent to reflect the simplicity and dignity of the Sisters' way of life.
On campus you will find a nearly 11,000 SF assisted living facility designed to contain a chapel, private living spaces, and communal living and dining rooms. Supplementing this structure is a 5,000 SF administration building, six homes of varying sizes, and a utility barn.
