Tinkelman Architecture drew on its interest in Adirondack style architecture to inform this major addition to the dining room of this local landmark resort. When doing additions and renovations, TA’s strategy is to look for important visual ques that will serve as design generators for the new element- seeking to establish an identity for the new while honoring its connection to the old. Playing off the roof forms and exposed timber themes, TA produced a sensitive variation on a theme to allow the resort to double its dining capacity.
