Architect Steve Tinkelman of Tinkelman Architecture in Poughkeepsie, who is currently working on a Poughkeepsie-based building project with Stenger, said there are many remodeling options to accommodate residents who want to stay in their own home. Buying something new, yet still avoiding a nursing home or assisted living unit, is still a possibility.

Van Wagner Place Brings Vitality To Arlington Town Center

Van Wagner Place could be the economic shot-in-the-arm that the Town of Poughkeepsie needs to ignite a new wave of growth in its Arlington Town Center District. This new development will have both residential housing and commercial property. Designed and developed by Tinkelman Architecture, who’s office is on the site at Van Wagner Place, the project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2016.

Poughkeepsie Common Council Held Public Hearing for Proposed Superintendent Law

Steven Tinkelman is a managing member of 110 Mill Street Associates in Poughkeepsie. He said he does everything he can to make sure that his tenants are taken care of. “We have 24 hour service here, so if our tenants need anything, anytime of day they have a number to call that we respond to," Tinkelman said.

But he said he has heard numerous stories of tenants in the city who are not taken care of. It’s a problem the Common Council is working to address.

Architectural Firm Begins Second Phase of Project

Tinkelman Architecture, a full-service architecture, design and planning firm headquartered in Poughkeepsie, has begun phase two of Van Wagner Place, a new mixed-use neighborhood located on the corner of Springside Avenue and Van Wagner Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
