Jackson & Main

The project is located in the Village Historic District along Main Street, and is intended to be evocative of the historic architecture along the Main Street corridor with a modernized style reminiscent of farmhouse estates with a sharp black and white exterior design.

The roofing will be pitched fiberglass shingles and flat areas to break up the massing; the siding will be a mix of vertical and horizontal fiber cement with shake highlights at gables and bays, and a running bond stone base. The connecting structures between the ‘houses’ have a greater transparency with entry atriums, and contain vertical circulation and an upper level exterior common terrace.

The building facing the Jackson & Main corner will have ground level commercial storefront space, community services and open to a community pocket park with low stone walls and sculpture garden.

The multi-family project will contain 56, one- and two bedroom units with ten-foot-high ceilings and clerestory windows on the third floor. Private garages and a dog wash are provided as accessory structures shielding the interior parking area to the rear from adjoining properties.
